In our Brainstorm Sessions Mastermind Group we are discussing goals. We all need them but many of us don’t write them down. Until we do, most of what we want (sell more CDs, get better gigs, etc.) will not take shape. Or maybe it will but not as quickly as we’d like.

So here is my challenge to you...

Take a few minutes and write down your goals that you would like to achieve in the next 6 months. Then click on "comments" down below and share your goals with us. It's a great exercise to get you thinking. And it's interesting to read what others have to say. You'll soon realize that many of your peers are in the same boat with the same ideas and plans.

So c'mon, don't be shy. Share your goals. Then take action and make it happen.

Okay I'll go first...

1. Write my first e-book (yeah more than an e-booklet!)

2. Develop my first e-course

3. Get paid a hefty sum to conduct music biz workshops (I’m currently work on that one!)

4. Develop GoGirls chapters across the country

Over the next 6 months, I'm going through a complete overhaul. It seems like a lot to do, but I'm confident it will all get done.

Magen White's 6 month goals:

1. Finish recording the new album
2. Get new photos taken
3. Design the album artwork, posters, new t-shirts and stickers
4. Launch the new website, redesign myspace page.
5. Send out all advertisements
6. Get the CDs manufactured
7. Distribute them to all the local stores, and all towns I'm touring in.
8. Send it to CD Baby, (get it on iTunes)
9. Send it off to many media outlets to be reviewed
10. Plan the CD release show
11. Send out a press release to get some press about the CD Release show
12. Start practicing with a full band for the CD release show
13. Get a booking agent to start booking the joint tour with Us Featuring You in April.
14. Promote the tour
15. sleep

Here are my 6 month goals:
1) Create brand awareness and increase visitors to the GoGirls Music Store.
2) Increase the number of products available by at least 3 items.

Hey Magen,

That is bold and awesome!! And you know what, when you say you are confident you will get it all done, you will. It's a mindset game and most people fail because they say things like, "I think I can do it" (thinking and doing are two separate things!) or "I don't have time." Whatever! Good luck on your achieving your goals. I know you will succeed.

You go girl,
